Hello, Lovelies!!

My name is Catherine and this is The Cup of Positivitea Blog! I am so glad that you have decided to come here and do some reading. 🙂

A little about me.

I am 26, currently live in South Carolina but soon to be back in Washington State. I am married and have three adorable kitties (no human babies yet).

I personally have suffered from depression and anxiety since middle school and have been on plenty of medications to help fix it.

In the past couple of years, I finally found a couple medications that actually help me to live a normal and happy life. I have not gotten rid of my mental illness as that isn’t something that is really common to do.

I still have my days of panic attacks and severe depressive episodes, but I have learned a lot along the way and know how to cope with them the best I can.

That is why I am here. Writing these posts for all of you. I want to share what I have learned through the years and hopefully help a few people along the way.

I am not a medical professional, nor do I claim my advice to be the only way or the right way even. But these are the things that have worked for me and that I find useful.

Everyone is different and not everything works the same for me as it will for all of you. So take what I say with a grain of salt.

Within this blog, I would like to discuss mental illness and what it means, and how to cope with it. Along with providing journal prompts and motivational quotes for daily use. I will explore many other topics including positive affirmations, meditation, and even some woo-woo stuff like crystals.

Whatever I feel falls into the wellness, happiness, positivity, and mental health world.

I want this to be a place of joy and to be void of any negativity.

If there is talk of negativity it will be used to discuss ways to turn things around into positivity.

I have a long list of things I would like to talk about with you all, but if you have any suggestions please do not hesitate to contact me or comment on a post with your ideas. I love new and fresh ideas and would love to know what everyone wants to talk about.
